Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch, I got to touch one !

WoW  is all I can say !  Two  Xmas is coming !  I will test drive this baby sooner then later ! If you want to buy one, go to Macguys I have been buying my stuff from them since humm.. lets see at least 15yrs.. I think,  well Mike and Pat own it, Pat lives in Ohio now on a lake, I got him into wakeboarding, anyhow Mike just took off to HI last month and married Lisa, yay.. so anyhow they honeymooned for 3 weeks, way to go.. ok so back to this unit. it was loading up the software so I was not able to play with it, but I will be in sat or monday to check it out and report in !

Apple MacBook is finally here !!!

I can't wait, who knows how long till I get a new one, but till then watch and enjoy it ! I have the G4 Power book 12" luv it ( I think anything over 13" is not so portable), this will be insane, LED back lit screen, lighted keys and insane processor for videos graphics etc.. Jon Ivy is the head designer reporting to Steve Jobs, so that's kool here's a couple picts of him and the video at apple.com for the full size intro ! So my vote is the 13" fully loaded !!!

Vimeo versus youtube

Hey I uploaded this new video to both, you tell me what you think ???? to give youtube a fair chance make sure you click on watch in high quality, now what I notice is this, the Vimeo version has sound issues, also if you look at Kia she has some wierd white streaks of light that are on her, notice in the slow motion segment. The youtube in high quality is much better then vimeo in my opinion.

Audiences adopt 'Chihuahua' with $29M weekend

Well HELL, I have to laugh now.. those kooks from Vimeo said they dont' care about the Movie Beverly HIlls Chihuahua, but now that the movie kicked butt this weekend, I now see god knows how many idiot people running out and buying a Chihuahua and thinking they can now have a lil dog that talks.. haha.. wrong.. don't get me wrong the breed is fun and My Pancho Villa is part Chihuahua but I think he's mixed with some heeler or min pin since he's smarter then most Chi's I've seen, now that part most people don't know, is that Papi the rescue star of the show, was pulled from the pound and taken to boot camp for 6 Months, this lil guy was on death row, but then put straight into a min 8hr a day 6 day a week training schedule for that flick, then who knows how much tiime for the filming of the movie so I imagine he's been working for over 1 year non stop.. I'm sure he's having fun, but he now lives wiht his trainer ( and god knows how many other animals) as the trainer surely won't give him up he's to valuable now.. I think he should donate him to a family, he's had a tough life.... don't you Think ????? I will be checking out the movie once it hits the $1 Redbox.com kiosk those things are so great ! So back to Vimeo, I'm sure the amount of Funy Chihuahua videos from homes all over are going to start to hit youtube like you have never seen, our pal Justin put on a Chihuahua red carpet beauty contest yest to jump on the bandwagon and make some $$ for his non profit, and I'm sure more Chi events are coming... but O Vimeo isn't a Pet Site, they are a Video sharing site. HaHa Blake Whitman and Andrew Pile are so not getting the point, IAC wants to make money, these kids at vimeo want to play in there lil office and make videos of themselves doing lil kiddy stuff like playing with chainsaws,( looks to me that Blake has two standard poodles maybe even) dig in to his lame vids you will see he's all about himself. I hope IAC catches wind of there statements, maybe I should do a press release.. haha..

Read the conversation I had with these guys( Vimeo.com ), amazing they think they are so great I guess... humm I wonder if the investors would like to read this ! Mypoint of contact was three fold, I wanted them to feature a user that just skated a world record, 7,555mi around the earth, two let them know the pet world is huge and that I might be able to get them a person that has a huge following to try them versus the youtube he uses now. As the pet business is over 50Bil and pet people luv to share video, the idiot Blake tells me, were a video sharing site not a pet site. HaHa ya think like I had no idea, I thought maybe you all would consider changing and only showing Pet related Videos. you idiot Blake Whitman, like I don't understand what your site is, if you looked you would see I have a handful of videos at my vimeo account, damn. then the supposed top dog at vimeo messages me a two word response, Andrew Pile, humm luv that last name, Pile of what ???? I send him a detailed email and all he can muster up is TWO words! I have two words for Andrew " YOU TOOL " I won't be using teh slow vimeo anymore anyhow you guy's still need to work on bugs anyhow and your site is not so great that you need to have a fuck you attitude. Hey, a Pal Rob just finished a longboard skate around the world, he has lots of vid on your site, and you guys might consider featuring him or his last vid maybe, it's an amazing feat to pull off, 14degrees.org/en/?p=754 or vimeo.com/user434563 he skated 7,555 miles, not sure if you can comprehend that distance ( I speed skated from the gg bride to santa cruz yrs ago 95mi in 5.5hrs was crazy, but what rob did was truely amazing ! his vids are great considering he carries all his stuff with him on his journey, do a press release on it, will get ya some mad press, think about it ! Fusionman/Jetman fly's across English Channel Yves Rossy

I stumbled across Yves Rossy a few years ago, can't remember how, but I do remember seeing his Insane video with one of my fav songs the first video is the first time I saw him but it had not hit youtube yet. Yves is a perfect example of how I have and live my life, you have to have a vision and go for it, he was married prior to this project and now is single, he has lots of goals, the other day he completed a major one for his jetwing, he crossed the English Channel using is invention! He's an ex military pilot from Austria, currently works as a commercial airline pilot, and spends his spare time, working on his jet wing! Go Yves you inspire many people to never give up and not listen to people that say it can't be done as well take an idea and move forward to make it come to reality! I thank you !

iphones are they just hype or are they worth the money! Post 3 of ??

OK the other day I went back to that same Sprint store, this time a new guy, rocker/punk type guy, kool dude, he had a instinct himself, his roomate has the iphone, he pointed out something interesting that nobody else has pointed out, the sprint plan is very cheap for this phone, they have $69.99 per month for unlimted data, group connect, direct connect and messaging, iphone has Nothing that can touch that.. now the phone is also a bit smaller then the iphone and he said his does all his roomates does, plus a few things.. one Major thing, the instinct ( samsung) comes with an extra battery that you can change yourself, the iPhone DOES NOT, you have to take it to the apple store to have someone do that, so that Sucks.. ASS !!! How long could that take ???

anyhow, I'm off to the apple store soon and will see what gives. At this point, the instinct seams a much better deal... you can't do video on the iphone, you can't watch tv, you can't send pict text, and the list is growing. humm.... O and he also said the instinct is $129 after the $100 rebate, so not bad.. O it also plays music !

Mad Talent, Americas got Talent on NBC !

Well I really have to say, I like to see the kinda Talent we have in America, and Simon has come up with a great show! My Fav won last year, and this year I have two! Now I don't really think that the piano man should be in this or the stringz guys, as I see talent more like, say the gal that bends like gumby, or more like acts, but no Doubt these two acts have my top 2 Votes !!!

Nuttin But Stringz is Sick, they bring a whole new twist to the Violin like never before I think they just might win, they are totally new compared to most musicians and I LUV it!

Eli Mattson, I think he's just as good at Playing Piano as Elton John, simply amazing and he wil get 2nd or maybe win, either way the guy will go VERY VERY far with his talent!

I will watch tonight and see what gives :)

Mac and PC file sharing, dog surfing compettition in San Diego CA

Ok OK OK, I will get back on the iphone versus instinct samsung soon enough, I was side tracked last week by my dog Kia wanting to etner a surf com, so in doing that she ended up on Reuters and Yahoo news, then yest 6am call some one told me she is most emailed Picture ! so that's very kool !

OK OK back to business, iphone and Olympus

So today I get this kool email from Olympus, this company is underated int the photo world, Canon and Nikon seam to get all the play, but ( I LUV my Canon stuff, for shooting 35mm style) but for pocket snap shots you CAN'T beat Olympus, did ya see the picts on my last blog, all with the 770SW, well now they have a newer model that is 10megapixel, and a bit more shock proof, it's the new 1030SW has a bit more features but yes more $$$ for sure, is it a must have, I say NO, get the 770sw and spend the extra on the 1G H memory card and make a $10 donotion to your local animal shelter. Now back to the cameras, the new 10meg has some sort of underwater movie mode, I'm not sure what that's about as I have done a lil underwater movie mode, now I also shot a fun "stick camera out of the truck driving at 70mph threw a rain storm" mode ! Canon/Nikon can only do that in a big bulky water housing like this I used to own one of these said water housings, but in 2004 it went floating down the Salt River in AZ without me never to be seen again :( that was for my Canon S230 pocket camera, so then we stopped at best buy and bought the new Canon S400 yippie, then 3 months later Olympus came out with the Stylus 400 it was Water Resistant, great for rain and snowboarding, that's when the luv started for Olympus ( I have to say the ladies at Cypress corp are SO very NOT friendly) but the 770sw rocks, did I say that ???? ok ok sorry.

I am posting a video of my truck rain clip for you all to pass along and make huge so get crackin ! And I will be back on the iphone story shortly.

Back to So Cal

Well Well, our trip was great, go to Kiapet.com to see a short blog and soon I will post tons of picts to check out at the site as well. So lets see, we stopped at like 10 subway places, they were all great, except the one in Page AZ, I don't want to get into details, but lets say one customer had the whole staff of 3 making 25 sandwiches while the other 3 of us customers had to watch, well after 10min I stepped in as I had the dogs in the truck and it was 100 out.. what a useless bunch of wanna be sandwich artists I have to say. Also stopped at a few other places, took me 15min to get a Monster Bfast sandwich at the Carls'Jr in Havasu, AZ they suck big time.. next am. took only 10min I guess that's progress, then stopped at Mc Donalds in Parker and it took 20min in drive thru for 2 double cheeseburgers.. I would have walked in but is was over 100, what a useless drive thru cashier the poor guy couldn't even walk and when I pulled up to speak he just said something like what will you have, not sorry for the LONG ass wait, or welcome, blah blah.. and people wonder why other countries are kickin the USA's ass for so many things... ok sorry about the rant.. now on to fun stuff. ok my tip if you like to surf the web say myspace and want to check out picts in a very kool format you have to get this plug in for firefox, it's called piclens ( formally called) and it is awesome, more sites will soon intergrate with it I'm sure ( currently it works with about 21 sites) I guranteee you will LUV it. Anybody check out sketch ??? Thoughts ???

Touring the southwest with my dogs !

Hey all I'm on the road since last Fri. why I haven't posted, can I tell ya fun fun fun! I will post details about our trip at Kiapet.com for the meantime here are a couple picts..

I will have to report I have been doing the Subway sandwich shop tour ( 5 so far, 4 get AAA+ service, Kanab was the best), and I luv there places, except the location in Page AZ, can you say what idiot workers, I walk in this gal ab out 17yrs has a list of 20+ sandwiches for some team, and she's on #3 one guy working... I stand there for 5-10min waiting waiting, he then yells in the back, some gal comes out, asks the gal ok what's next.... then a lady walks in, so the guy yells again, she comes out and just about starts to put the crap into a bag for the team broad, I then open my mouth ( it's 90 in the truck and Kia and Pancho are waiting) and say, hello, but I think me and this gal don't want to wait 20min while you 3 make all her stuff and I have dogs in the car, so make my one lil 6" now ! and the lady next to me smiles and says to me, nice work, amazing how clueless these kids are ! so back to ok food and under $5 can't beat it unless you dine on the .99 double cheese burgers from McDonalds !!!

have not found a store to check on the iphone as of yet, but I'm sure in Phx I will, were in Flagstaff AZ at the moment in a dive hotel, great bed, clean room and only $48 out the door, and they are dog friendly, called the American INN at 2650 E Route 66 ( Historic Route 66 ), Flagstaff, AZ FREE wireless the rest of the places charge !

I will leave ya with a kool tip on a very nice FREE program mac/pc to edit fun stuff on your picts, they have beta mode and it's awesome if your not the best at graphics ! It's called Skitch ! TRUST me this program ROCKS !

Apple iPhone hype or not, part 2 of ???

OK, I have to say I have stopped at 1 Sprint Store to check out the new Samsung Instinct phone, and Wow... all I can say is, what an AHole of an employee at that location on 17th/55 in Tustin, I walked in at 7:20pm door wide Open, one guy standing behind counter flipping paperwork, tells me, well we close at 7pm do you need something quick. I laugh to myself, say yeah I'd like to just take a look at an instinct, his response was kinda like I just walked to the white house and said, ( I need to chat with George W. Bush) he says NO we don't have them, even I can't get one, will be a couple weeks, I say, wow that sucks.. I see sprint slamming iphone all over town, so I would think they would get some stock out to you guys. He says nothing. Also I couldn't help but notice the lady that pulled up in the Benz just in front of the store, she walked right in and he didn't tell her he was closed, haha.. The guy really is not smart, as he should have asked me if I wanted to get one, be put on a list, or be called, or anything, he could care less about me !!! Well that's strike 1, Sprint Instinct !

iphones are they just hype or are they worth the money! Post 1 of ???

Ok, I luv Apple.com products, I've been a user of that brand for about 15years, my good friend owns a mac store, called The Mac Guy's, Kiapet.com was a featured .mac profile 1 of 7 for a few years, and I LUV my 12" G4 laptop, iweb the software is the best thing since sliced bread ! Now with all that out of the way I also want to say, I really don't care for Sprint they screwed me yrs ago for $800, I had AT&T Wireless for many many years and they were great, but when the 1,000min for $39 (Tmobile) came out I jumped ship as the $99 unlimited was not something I really needed.

Now this post will actually be TWO parts, 1.0 will be me just doing some basic views based off of what I have seen on TV and online. Part 2 I will go to stores and try the phones in person then report my 2 cents worth!

OK here's what I have seen on TV, the iphone is $200 ish, you have to pay for text, web etc.. I've hear figures about it being pretty expensive. Sprint has a new phone by Samsung called the Instinct, it seams to do about all the iphone does, except it is $99 a month unlimited, everything. Pretty much a no brainer if you ask me, along with some type of Mobile TV service included, not that I want to watch TV on a tiny screen, but the text (iphone can't send pict text messages to other phones) emails and surfing the web I would think seams to be mostly what people want !

iphone is $199 or $299 and the plan is $129 unlimited, then extra $20 if you want Text, total of $149.00 a month minus the extra taxes etc. this equals $1,788.00 a yr. Not counting taxes etc.

instinct is $129.00 and the plan is $99.00 unlimited everything total of $1,188.00 a year, saving $600.00 Not counting taxes etc.

Now if you want to check out direct comparison of the two phones click here, keep in mind both phones are NOT apples to apples, but you will notice the apple iphone falls short in many areas, the main area I see being, the fact that you CANNOT change your battery in the iphones, and the samsung you can ( I have a T509 samsung now for yrs and it's a great tiny phone served me well and I will keep until it dies) the other thing, the instinct does video ! No I will have to say, both phones to me are weak in the camera area as they both have a horrible 2meg camera, come on, 4-8meg would be nice, then I wouldn't have to carry my camera with me 24/7, I also would luv if samsung or apple made them waterproof like my Olympus 770 SW, it is very easy for them to do, but they want to sell more phones so I see this NEVER happening. No back from my rant, don't get me wrong, the iphone must be good, I just think people are like lemmings at times and just follow without doing there research. I have to say many years ago I was on pacbell cell, then went to LA Cellular when I moved back to OC, then I was on a rep trip in AZ saw a billboard that said, Cell NO long distance NO roaming charges, I was like wth, it was AT&T wireless, so I called the number, and they said well you have to have an AZ number I said isn't there any CA numbers, they said well I see Ventura, that's a 818 number I said, I don't care, hell I'm not paying any roaming or long distance so big deal. I signed on the spot and it must have taken 2-3yrs before I saw anyone else I knew sign up for the same type deal, people just don't like to change I guess. The best move I made, I can only imagine how much I saved over the years. so 5-6yrs ago I changed again, went to T-Mobile at $39 a month as I don't travel so much any more, and you can't beat the price. It runs on the AT&T towers so same system.

OK back to iphone hype or not, I say save yourself a ton of money and go check the samsung instinct then compare to the iphone and see what you come up with, let me know ! I will be store window shopping this week and let ya know what I find out in person !

Best all around camera!

Hi All, OK, so I have not posted in a long time, I've been busy with a long list of things, including helping my friend ( I built and maintain TeamDiva.com) also update Kia's site and blog 24/7 as well as now have a second dog Named Pancho Villa that someone dumped on my street at my office. Along with my new site TopBroadcasters.com and the list is long. So I will now blog at least once a week, maybe more !

Now back to my topic, I luv this new camera I bought last year, its my replacement for the Olympus stylus 400 that served me great for many yrs ( the 400 was water resistant) the new Olympus 770sw (click the link on the lower right amazon ad to buy this kool camera) it is insane I payed over $350.00 for it at amazon, now they have it at $199.00 they now have a new version at 10meg, not really needed, anyhow back to the 770, it works great above water, under water ( 33') u can drop it, freeze it etc... The picts come out great, and I luv this thing at the beach, I really see NO reason to buy any other camera unless it's like a 35mm pro style ( Canon 40d is what most my shots at ReneBruce.com are shot with, I have used Canon Cameras since 1982 I luv the brand). The 770 fits in your pocket and is easy to use(about the size of a pack of smokes, NO kidding) you can even put this baby in your purse or back pocket and not worry about the LCD screen being broke, this baby is TOUGH!!! I can't tell ya enough GO BUY this unit NOW, also only get the 1gig H card, NOT the M series. if you go look at Kiapet.com you will notice most of my picts are shot with this unit as are the videos! I give this 11 Stars !
